Keep showing unread badge on the app icon while there’s no unread emails at all. Used to be fixable with is:unread in:inbox but not anymore

Signed into one of my accounts and says there are 17 unread emails have marked everything as read or deleted and no other app I log into the gmail account from shows the issue only the gmail app on iOS. So there must be an issue with gmail on iOS. Please fix this

It sends and receives emails.
You can’t trust it to tell you if you have a new email in your inbox. And you can’t trust it to tell you if you no longer have unread emails.
But it does send and receive emails.

Everything works great except occasionally the notification badge on the home screen will show there’s an unread email when there isn’t. As someone who can’t stand leaving notification badges unturned, this is infuriating because the only way to fix this problem is by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Please stop stacking my emails on each other. I want a separate email for each individual purchase that I make. I want to delete each email for each separate purchase after I receive it. The only reason I started using the app instead of the website was it said that the app was a smarter gmail. LIES!!

It was working fine but now what it used to do like 3 - 4 versions ago. When you get a notification and it shows the number of unread emails, when you read them the number on notifications doesn’t go away. It used to do this before and was fixed and now it’s keeping the badge icon like before. Please fix again

Google forced me to opt in to the little mobile prompts to sign in without my permission, and now they never show up, so I am unable to sign in or turn off the prompts

Ian afraid that the my suspended my account for no reason and when you put an appeal they just denied you. Suspension should be with proof
