What is Website Monitoring?
Websites run on computers (servers) not unlike your laptop, desktop, or ipad. They occasionally have problems and need to be rebooted (or the programs restarted). We check your website and measure it's responsiveness to know when the server is having such a problem. Our system checks your website just like a person visiting your site would do. So you get an ACCURATE picture of what your server is doing. We call this functional monitoring.
Why would I want to monitor my website?
The computer your website runs on (server) probably has more problems than you realize. Just like your desktop computer the server needs to be rebooted. And when that happens your website is not available for your audience, readers, or customers to use. By monitoring your site you can: 1) Know when your site is having problems so you can correct the issue, or have your hosting company take corrective action. 2) Reduce lost orders, and profit, by making sure you have a reliable hosting company 3) Maintain your search engine rankings by ensuring your site is always available
Are you monitoring your monitoring?
Yes, we eat our own dog food. We use our own system to monitor our servers, with the addition of some extra checking in place (designed for that whole cloud server thing). We have redundant systems that are designed FOR failure. We expect servers to fail, so our system is designed for it. If one server (or more) goes down, the rest pick up the slack so there is ZERO interruption in service. Our system was design right from day one to be highly scalable so that we can quickly and dynamically increase capacity.
Technical Questions
How often do you check my site?
A maximum of once a minute, however you can adjust this to be every minute, five minutes or ten minutes. Just navigate to the Advanced Options section of your monitor and change the Check Frequency rate.
How many sites can I monitor?
You can monitor 10 sites per trial account. Once payment has been verified you can you can monitor as many as you need.
We also offer reduced pricing if you have more then ten monitors.
What IP addresses are the robot checking from?
We currently have two monitoring stations, one in the US and one in the UK.

UK: 46.137.84.173
How can I stop receiving so many emails?
By default the notification option is set to send you a single email alert when your monitor is down and then one when it's back, however if the option was changed to continuing then you could receive emails every 5, 10, 30, and 60 minute intervals.
Billing Questions
Can I get a refund?
Sorry, but we don't do refunds. We are a month to month, no contract, based service so we have to charge for the service we have provided you. If you are unhappy with your service you can cancel at any time and you will not be billed for your next billing period. But why would you want to cancel such an incredible service?
